Sailors appreciate the power and simplicity of the Furuno 1632 RADAR. The 6" mono LCD provides a four-tone target display so you can differentiate between different strength echoes to help alert you of danger. Even in Standby Mode you will have a full screen navigation data display. You can connect a BBWGPS GPS/WAAS receiver for additional features and capabilities.
Watchman Mode When set to Watchman Mode the radar conserves power. Both the transmission and antenna are off. The radar wakes up at time intervals you create (5, 10 or 20 min) for a minute at a time. Alarms will sound if targets enter the Guard Zone. You can also set the alarms for when a target leaves a specified area.
