As your boating needs
grow, you can connect additional navigation equipment from
chart plotters to sounders with the programmable NMEA 0183
interface offered by Furuno. The included Guard Zone Alarm
will generate both visual and audio alarms when a target
enters your defined area. Short range performance has
been enhanced with the 1932, and the optional ARP10 allows
you to program 5 automatic targets and 5 manual targets or a
total of 10 manual targets for tracking in real time.
Display Options
The ship's position in L/L or Loran-C TDs, ship's speed,
course, and range/bearing to the targeted waypoint can all
be output with the 1932 MARK-2 with appropriate nav sensors
in NMEA 0183 format.
