speed is accurately displayed from maximum speeds all the
way down to dead slow. The DS30 is in compliance with

The Furuno DS30 has a 10" Color LCD screen with a wide
viewing angle capable of three display modes: Bearing, Nav
Data and Speed. The display presents a variety of
information in both graphics and alphanumerics and is
operated by touch keys and a trackball.
Laser Gyro
An optional Laser Gyro is available for
accurate measurements of the vessel's transverse speed at
stern without needing another transducer. If using
Berthing Mode, a laser gyro is required.
