The FA-30 AIS uses an Ethernet and serial port for ease of connection to Navnet VX2 and NavNet 3d Systems, MaxSea AIS viewer PC software, and MaxSea NavNet Navigation software. You can connect AIS capable RADAR and chart plotters through the serial port.
