The Furuno
PG500R is used for true radar echo trail and true motion
applications, video plotter applications, auto pilots and
scanning sonar applications. The heading sensor checks
for terrestrial magnetism and then produces compass data for
use with Furuno AD10 and NMEA0183 formats.
Output Ports and Data Output
The Furuno PG500R generates heading data output in
IEC 61162-2 format and has 3 heading data output ports:
2 IEC/NMEA ports and 1 AD-10 port.
