The JRC JUE-95L is a stand alone system that
is easy to install and accurately transmit key information
to improve safety while at sea. You need only a single
coax cable between the terminal and antenna, and both
devices are compact for installing on any size and type of
ship.
LRIT Required
Vessels are are required to have LRIT systems
that automatically transmit ship identity, position and the
date and time of the position at time of transmission.
The following ships (engaged on international voyages) are
required to implement LRIT:
● All passenger ships, including high speed craft
● Cargo ships, including high speed craft of 300 gross
tonnage and above
● Mobile offshore drilling units
