The VERTEX STANDARD VX-231 UHF Portable 400-470 MHz Extra Perf. Pkg. UNIVERSAL includes the ATU-6D 450-485 MHz Antenna. In addition to its four different scanning functions, this unit also features Vertex's exclusive Auto-Range Transponding System (ARTS). ARTS lets you know when other ARTS-equipped stations are within range of communication, and if a unit is out of range for more than two minutes, the radio can sense that it's not receiving a signal and alert you, so the base station can alert the field unit to get back within range.
